Summary of Position:

As an Onboarding Specialist, you'll play a critical role in shaping the new hire experience, ensuring every associate feels welcomed, prepared, and set up for success from the moment they accept their offer through Day 1 orientation.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

 

You'll serve as a key partner in delivering a best-in-class onboarding experience by:

  • Managing the full onboarding lifecycle from offer acceptance through Day 1 readiness
  • Coordinating and tracking all pre-employment requirements (I-9, background checks, health screenings, licensure, and more)
  • Serving as a primary point of contact for new hires, hiring managers, and internal teams
  • Ensuring timely and accurate completion of onboarding documentation and HRIS records
  • Monitoring onboarding progress and proactively resolving barriers to ensure a smooth start
  • Collaborating with cross-functional partners including HR, Talent Acquisition, Occupational Health, and leadership
  • Supporting reporting, process improvements, and onboarding best practices

Minimal Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or (equivalent combination of relevant experience and education) is required.
  • 1+ years of recent experience in a high-volume scheduling administrative position or similar human resources experience, required.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • Critical thinking problem-solving time management organizational skills accountability/ownership and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to adhere to detail accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills for effective communication with new hires/transferring associates.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and work under strict deadlines.
  • Knowledgeable of HR and payroll processes helpful.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications including Outlook Word and Excel.

This position has a hiring range of

USD $23.65 - USD $42.03 /Hr.
